Thank you for this deep take. I think you're raising an important argument. The truth is usually somewhere in the middle. It's a bit like the discussion around air travel and its environmental impact. While that argument is absolutely valid, it's strange how the next step is often to attack 'cheap flights', preserving the privilege of flying for the rich only. :)

Very interesting. I’m glad I happened on this post! I write about parenting in the age of AI and try to convince parents to jump in and try it and to teach their kids how and when to use it as they see fit. The schools certainly aren’t doing it, and that’s just widening the gap of those who have parents with the time/energy/wherewithal to figure this out and those who don’t.

What is AI ?

Is it simply heuristic programming, that is a set of rules to determine actions based on input data ?

Or is it a subset or superset of this ?

Or is it something else ?

Until it is defined, AI is just 2 letters of the alphabet.
